OK, we finally have moved forward to getting the Jeep fixed from where we were rear-ended in early April. On my way to drop it off, I looked down and hit my neighbor's mailbox, breaking the mirror. Of course, the whole assembly has to be replaced because they don't sell just the lens. Great, $170 down the tubes. Happy Mother's Day!!
BUT, on the bright side, everyone is fat & happy...so for that, I'm grateful.

Paw
for those of you that have been watching for an update, I must apologize. Paw had a giant leap forward...then a quick shove back. For awhile, we were all convinced that he was going to somehow beat this. It wasn't logical to think, but we did. It's hard to accept a terminal illness, especially when not being treated. Ron is currently stable, but weaker by the day. He's coherent and can hold a conversation for a few minutes, but wears down quickly.
Right now, it's day by day. We really don't know what to expect. He seems comfortable, which is #1. Nikki (SIL) is taking care of him on a 24 hour basis, and while wearing her down, she's hanging in there.
